Abstract:The role of expert systems for management is to assist decision makers in resolving complex problems. Expert systems handle the tasks which necessitate to combine the data of a company with the hazards or subjective opinions. The application of the expert system is aimed at releasing profit from the productivity of a company. This is attained first by exploiting the advantages offered by program languages of the fifth generation, i.e. by reducing maintenance costs and second, by multiplying within the company the transfer of expertise using techniques important for human resource management, particularly in the field of communication.
