| Abstract: | The total indexes of the prices of residents' consumption goods, retail prices and the purchasing prices of productive resources are three main price indexes measuring the level of inflation in Shenzhen. In 1995, they were 112.4%, 110.8% and 110.1%, down 5.8 , 5.6 and 5.8 percent points respectively over 1994. The task of controlling prices in Shenzhen is still arduous for 1. the index of retail prices remains high, 2. the consumption funds increase more rapidly, 3. there still exist the pressure of too large money stock. |
