| Abstract: | At present the main financial institutions which began to do the investment banking business are commercial banks, security companies, and trust and investment corporations. The economic strength of the commercial banks is strong, but their technical conditions are not ideal enough. Security companies have already had certain experiences and technical base, but they lack funds. In comparison, the financial strength of the trust and investment corporations are strength, their business scope is wider, and more close to the requirement of investment banking business. But compared with international investment banking, they are still smaller and have scarcely touched the new type of financial business. |
