Abstract:To establish the modern enterprises system, managerial revolution is the basic premise and its content. The managerial revolution decides not only the economic nature of enterprises' expansion but whether or not be modern enterprises system can be established finally. Practising the system of appointment of general managers will help straighten out the relationship between a chairman of the board of directors and a general manager and make each take his deserved responsibility. It can also break the "iron bowl system" and introduce the competitive mechanism of senior managerial personnel. Besides, it benefits rewards or punishment of general managers according to the principle of "responsibility, right and interest", thus inspiring them to make more contributions.
