Abstract:The shift of the economic growth mode of Pearl River Delta from being extensive to intensive is the certain demands of the law of market economy, optimizing resource allocation and rationalize industrial structure, and the need of marching forward modernization economically and culturally as well. To realize such a shift, the following basic principles should be followed: the principles of economic returns, being integrated with the local reality, attaching importance to talent effect, helping accelerate the process of development of rural industrialization and urbanization.
