Abstract:Restricted by internationalization and regionalization, the future development of the Pearl River Delta is at a crossroads. Its economic development is only expressed as a transitional state. As the establishment of a new system is an omni-directional change course and there is a stage of transition from breaking down the old system to establishing a new one, the Pearl River Delta will be in the period of integration and change of many forces in the years to come. Second, its development direction under the international influence would raise new demand on domestic economy and market on one hand and it is impossible for it to develop of itself in an isolated state due to the restriction of the old system and the economic development of other areas on the other hand.
