| Abstract: | With the development of Hainan Special Economic Zone, so many development zones have established one after another. The development zones there are quite different from ones in other areas in the emerging background including ideology, politics, economy, international political economy. The different objective demand and supply potential resulting from the trends of urbanization, world economic globalization, liberalization of trade and investment are the source of basic driving force for multi-level development of development zones. The verified results show that the development zones established in the peripheral districts of big cities have developed relatively steadily while ones far from cities have had many difficulties in development. |
