Specifically, manufacturing industries on both sides will further integrate. At present, 70 percent of Taiwan's manufacturing industry has invested in the mainland. Large enterprises in Taiwan are becoming the main force of investment on the mainland and 70 percent of large and medium-sized firms have invested on the mainland.
