| Abstract: | First, the position and the scope of operation in trust business should be identified in the entire financial system in China. The external system should be smoothed. The policy resource should be partly and properly open so as to separate from and overlap other financial institutions. Secondly, based on the current situation, trust business should be run upon different lines of operation and I a model of "Dual-level management of different lines". The first level is to reorganize the larger trust companies into group shareholding corporate. The second level is to reorganize the medium and small ones in fission-type way upon their original sectors or regions. The underlying issue is the strategic choice, which involves the market cultivation, the system innovation and the scale expansion. |
