| Abstract: | The focus of the EC's activity in the area of social policy and employment legislation has now largely switched to the procedures of the social policy Agreement, which exclude the UK. Whole Community legislative activity is at a virtual standstill, while a number of the Commission's actions programmes - which generally stress non-legislative action - have run into trouble in the Council. This six-monthly review brings you up to date with developments. The table presented here contains all important "live" items of draft social policy legislation of general interest which are still in the legislative "pipeline". |
