| Abstract: | Rather than being seen as a luxury, spas have become more popular and are viewed as essential elements to a hotel's or a resort's success. PKF Hospitality Research (PKF-HR) has analyzed the 2006 financial performance of hotel spa departments. The sample is divided into two categories: 1. resorts and 2. urban hotels. In this article, exhibits of the 'Trends in the Hotel Spa Industry' report are presented. |
