Abstract: | This study explores perceptions which differentiate key decisionmakers (henceforth as: d-mkrs.) of Columbia in nearly 170 SMEs. The d-mkrs. had the decision to either internationalize (henceforth as: int.) or stay domestic. An integrative model is used to compare managerial perceptions of macro-environmental, neo-institutional and competitive factors. Foreign MNEs in the home market significantly differentiated decisions to int. as well as the presence of int. domestic competitors, anticipated product acceptance, and int. suppliers. |
