Abstract:The author's message in this article is that free enterprise has become a treasured combination of personal freedom and one of the world's highest standards of living. At the core of the capitalistic system is lively, energetic, accountable and effective business community. Any threat to that system is fundamentally dangerous to Canada. He proposes measures to safeguard the continued wellbeing of the Canadian business community.
