| Abstract: | In the year 2000 Germany received around DM 37,4 billion from international tourism, according to information available to date from the German Bundesbank. Demand from foreign tourists rose by nearly 11 % in nominal terms from 1999 to 2000, and so this item has risen continuously since 1995, confirming Germany´s attractiveness to holidaymakers and for business trips. |
