| Abstract: | In the context of the European single market, the question arises of how German industry is developing compared with industry in other major EU countries. In this article, indicators such as the index of production and real gross value added, which are generally used to describe industrial development, are analyzed. In addition to Germany, the other major countries in the European Union, France, Italy and Great Britain are considered. |
