| Abstract: | This paper reviews the research on virtual teams (hereafter as: v-t./v-ts.) trying to assess the state of the literature (here as: litt.). It starts with an examination of the definitions of v-ts. used and proposes an integrative definition. Findings related to team inputs, processes, and outcomes are reviewed and areas of agreement and inconsistency in the litt. on v-ts. are identified. Avenues for future research, incl. methodological and theoretical considerations are suggested. |
