Abstract:This paper discusses team virtuality, which plays a key role in the literature on teams. Team virtuality is defined as the extent to which team members use virtual tools to coordinate and execute team processes, the amount of informational value provided by such tools, and the synchronicity of team member virtual interaction. Also key factors that lead teams to higher level of team virtuality are introduced.
