| Abstract: | The new realities of tomorrow include: a dramatic change in the age structure of our population; a tremendous transformation in the diversity of our population; a growing population of "at-risk" children and adults; a significant transfer of resources away from our children and young families to our mature work force and aging population; and a government policy of doing less, when the new realities tell us we must do more to ensure a competitive and productive tomorrow. |
