| Abstract: | The aim of this article is to compare alternative designs of an unfunded pension system. It considers convex combination between a fixed contribution rate and fixed benefit rate. The article build a three-period model CGE framework where the financing of education and effects on factor prices are accounted for. The results show that in this case individuals in the small open economy are unaffected by fertility fluctuations. |
