Abstract:Mexico, the USA, and Canada may soon agree to become the largest trading market in the world. It is suggested, that companies factor the influence of this free-trade pact into their long-range plans. Emerging opportunities are described. In particular, USA and Canadian corporations will have the opportunities to form new strategic alliances with local firms, to invest in the development of infrastructure, to participate in the coming revolution in consumer credit and to share production and develop modern international networks.
