| Abstract: | The article investigates the role of trust in interfirm exchange. A conceptual challenge in this investigation is translating an inherently individual-level concept of trust to the organizational-level outcome of performance. The results indicate that interpersonal and interorganizational trust are related but distinct concepts and that the hypotheses linking trust to performance receive some support. |
