| Abstract: | This survey of video cassette recorders (VCRs) and digital versatile disc players (DVDs) includes information on the VCR and DVD player market in the UK. In the period 1999-2003 the volume growth for VCSs and DVD players is forecast to increase initially with the uptake of digital television, but then to decline as sales of the yet-to-be- launched DVD-R players begin to make an impact in the market. |
