Abstract:This paper presents a classification of process views in organization studies. Examined are four different process views, that is, i. process as flows, ii. process as programmes, iii. process as recursive reproduction and iv. process as connectivity. The i. and ii. tend to build on the assumption processes taking place within relatively stable contexts (as "exogenous" view). The rest base on the assumption of stabilization of entities residing in the process itself (as "endogenous" view).
