| Abstract: | The central and western parts of China are China's important bases of supplying electric power, energy and raw materials. But these areas' lagging behind in economic development will restrict severely the sustained and rapid development of the whole national economy. The unbalance of foreign investment policy is one of the important factors leading to widening the gap between the central and western parts and the eastern coastal areas in economic development. Therefore, the policy of absorbing foreign capital will be inclined more greatly towards the central and western areas to provide a good policy environment which is conducive to giving full play to their inner potential and superiority. |
