Abstract:It is difficult to turn Shenzhen into an economic central city. The following are responsible for it: 1. Shenzhen can not be turned into an independent economic central city by bypassing Hong Kong in the south and Guangzhou in the north. 2. The complementary relationship in industrial structure between Shenzhen and its neighboring areas has not been shaped. 3. Slow progress has been made in the opening and development of financial field. 4. Few large-sized transnational corporations with a small amount of investment have invested in Shenzhen. 5. There is no sci-tech personnel training base in Shenzhen. 6. The growth rates of total purchase volume and total sales are obviously lower than Shenzhen's GDP growth rate and the trade market is backward.
