Abstract: | This article examines the advertising of prescription drugs direct to consumers. Main focus is on the attitude of UK hospital doctors and general practitioners towards direct-to-consumer advertising of prescription drugs. This study is an extension of research by Reast and Carson (2000) and a part replication of USA research by Pethronius et al. (1995). |
