Abstract: | This study explains the way managers could foster strategically aligned behaviour (SAB) among employees. The findings of surveys in three organizations propose that, first, perceived efforts by management aimed at motivating and informing employees, and at developing their capabilities, each is related to SAB. Second, providing reasons for the strategy and an open communication culture have a stronger relationship with SAB than participation in decision making and supportiveness. Third, the insights of the different types of managerial effort are related to each other. |
