| Abstract: | As trends move toward greater participative goal setting, senior managers increasingly are finding themselves facilitating goal-setting workshops. Whether these meetings occur among their immediate staff or community organizations, the need to build a concensus around common goals is a repeatedly used skill. Establishing the organization's goals participatively helps to ensure a wider concensus. Participative goal-setting workshops contribute to developing a work team to accomplish the organization's goals. |
