| Abstract: | This article examines corporate downsizing and its implications for communicating employee lay-offs. Management may face difficulties and unpleasant communication choices when they confront stakeholders. This article reviews an extended case example, a practice which provides ten suggestions for communicating and planning employee lay-offs. |
