| Abstract: | The idea of this paper is to discuss the relation between taste and creativity and convention and how these aspects are represented in product design in the sustainability context. The article presents several examples of design for sustainability. The case examples illustrate how old and new can be integrated in to innovative and exploratory artifacts by combining mass-production and the local resources. |
