| Abstract: | In the present world of exponential technological growth, when technological cooperation is a major imperative in selecting optimal partners it is necessary to understand of the levels and gaps in technology with respect of the cooperating partners. A procedure is presented for the analysis of levels and gaps with respect to specific technologies. Examples from selected fields are included. A disaggregated analysis of levels and gaps in terms of the four basic components of technology may give better insights for technology planning. |
