| Abstract: | The development of commodity index-linked derivatives has made it easier for institutional investors to gain exposure to commodities. But, with the launch of three new commodity indices in four months, how should investors choose which index to use as a benchmark? Commodities are still a great unknown to most fund managers. Because this is a new area of investment for many of them, they may not have the expertise or confidence to play the commodity markets directly. |
