| Abstract: | This article illuminates the processes by which strategic problems are framed and the impact it has on decision outcomes. Research on decision making often overlooks the framing stage. Framing provides focus, a "landscape" in which useful diagnostic cues are more apt to be present. The aim of this study is to uncover some of the factors that people use to frame a decision making process and determine how they influence success. |
