Abstract:This empirical exploratory study measured satisfaction levels among 575 visitors to a music festival in an urban environment. Satisfaction levels were defined according to four combinations of variables: satisfaction with peripheral services available on-site, with products sold on site, with the site itself, and with the festival content. For the site overall, there was no observable difference between residents and tourists in their levels of satisfaction. For festival content, however, resedents were found to have higher levels of satisfaction than tourists.
