| Abstract: | Urban communities are facing severe economic challenges that may cause changes in the way America does business. The economic base is changing as the middle class is diminishing in many parts of the country. The paper examines corporate decisions within the emerging urban prosperity initiatives, using the framework of integrative social contract theory by Donaldson and Dunfee. |
