| Abstract: | Two scientists Piore and Sabel of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology wrote a book on the problems of mass production in which they express their opinion that handicraft production has a lot of advantages over mass production. They come to two conclusions. One is that the present problems of capitalistic economy may be attributed to the shortcomings of mass production. The second is that the theory of all highly developed countries to build their economy on mass production was a mistake. |
