Abstract: | Since the beginning of the 1990s, the structure of demand in China has evolved into a pattern featuring sharp increase in investment demand and gradual enhancement in the guiding role of export from being driven both by consumption demand and by investment demand in the mid-1980s. In the coming 5 to 15 years, the basic pattern of structure of demand is as follows: The consumption demand will grow stabile. The investment demand will fluctuate to some extent due to the influence of policy. The export demand will keep a steady growth and the pulling function of net export to economic development will weaken gradually. If the investment policy remains unchanged, the general trend of demand is to grow stabile. |
