| Abstract: | In 1998, the contribution to economic growth rate of export demand declined due to the influence of external demand and change in exchange rate. So to keep the stable growth of national economy, we must increase the domestic demand. At present, China is in the ascendant of consumption revolution highlighting "shelter and transportation". Taking advantage of the opportunity to conduct regulation and control may strengthen the pulling function of economic growth. In addition, guiding the irrational investment behavior with consumers' rational behavior and allocating resources according to the market demand under the condition of upgrading of structure of residents' consumption may give into full play the guiding function of consumption demand in structural adjustment. |
