Abstract:It was calculated that the commodity market in 1999 would be buyer's market at low level, and the structural inadequate supplying of commodity would still exist. Traditional habits of consumption are to be changed by formulating new consumption policy. It is considered, from the angle of strategic development, that new consumption policy must be made to enlarge demands, the media should encourage consumption activity and the people's consumptive confidence should be strengthened. Meanwhile, new forms of marketing such as chain marketing and allocation and delivery through agent should be developed, which can make impact on structural adjustment of circulation industry and transformation of organization form. As for rural market, it is expected to guide the peasants to improve their consumptive psychology and consumptive habits, and so on.
