| Abstract: | The policy of expanding investment has produced obvious effects: from the second half of the year the growth rate of investment demand obviously has been rising, which has provided stronger driving force for the economic growth rate recovered; the industrial production accelerated monthly; the production of many important basic raw material products has been taking a favorable turn since the third quarter but the effect of the domestic demand expansion policy on economic growth is not as striking as expected. The next task of expanding domestic demand should be focused on developing urban and rural markets, stimulating resident consumption demand and turning the resident potential consumption demand into effective purchase power. |
