| Abstract: | As many developing countries are finally coming around to accepting free trade, the developed countries have been gradually turning their backs on the economists'professed principles through administrative trade protection such as voluntary export restraints and anti-dumping actions. The author provides a discussion of the reasons for the change and the impacts of it on the world trading system. |
