| Abstract: | To reduce tariff and cancel restrictions on imports will without doubt promote the growth of imports. This year, the imports will actually grow by 20% or so. The reduction of export tax refund will inevitably exert some negtive influence on the growth of exports. So it is a foregone conclusion that the growth of exports will show down. In the second half of 1996, the deficit will appear in foreign trade, which is an expected thing. As a result, it will produce certain pressure on the devaluation of RMB. |
