| Abstract: | Since the reform and opening up, 14 bonded areas have been set up in China. However, the function of bonded area has not been given full scope to and the tax policies in bonded areas are not standard and unified enough. We should learn from some popular courses of actions carried out in many countries, namely establishing economic free zones to promote the fast growth of economy. We should reform and perfect the bonded areas in our country, make clear about the purpose, nature and function of the establishing of bonded areas as well as carry out planning and management on the basis of classification. To unify the tax policies in bonded areas as well as to simplify and strengthen the supervision of customs should be the main content of the reform of systems and policies in the bonded areas in the near future. |
