| Abstract: | The emergence of net bank will change people's understanding on the method of bank operation as well as international financial center. Great changes will take place in a series of traditional bank operation theory. Net-bank has its own unique characteristics. It is unreal, intelligentized, innovative and globalized bank. In addition, its operation cost is very low. Net-bank will provide speedy and convenient service to online transaction activities. It will also affect traditional banks on marketing, competitive structure, payment and settlement tools, and international financial supervision etc. At present, China is in the underway phase, Bank of China provided the first internet service to its clients on March 1999. |
