| Abstract: | The new "time-dividing by peak and valley" electric fee method came into effect as from Nov. 1, 1994. All the users are charged according to the new method except administrative organs, school, troops, hospital, subways, trolley buses, water works, gas works and residents. The time period of peak and valley is divided as the follows: 8:00-11:00, 18:00-23:00 peak time period; 23:00-07:00 valley time period; the rest of the time is the period which is neither peak nor valley. The electric prices for nonresidents' lighting are: 0.552 yuan/kwh under 1kv during the peak time period, 0.329 yuan/kwh under 1kv during the period which is neither peak nor valley, 0.12 yuan/kwh under 1kv during the valley time period. |
