Abstract:The current conflicts of new value concepts with old ones are on the rise. The reasons are: 1) some concepts lag behind; 2) some go too far and; 3) concrete behaviour norms are too general. The key to clearing up the misunderstandings in "the antinomy" among historic, economic and ethical evaluations is to find scientific and rational standards for value yardstick, which should be of unity and general significance. The authors hold that "the free and all round development of man", which overlooks every definite field, is a "universal light" of universal standards.
