Abstract: | The paper explores how PowerPoint has influenced on business and educational presentations, classroom communication and the nature of lecturing itself by analyzing the ways in which PowerPoint is used and the shortcomings of PowerPoint. This analysis offers insights into educational technologies, their implementation in organizations, and their effect on the construction and dissemination of organizational knowledge. In addition, the qualities and skills of society of spectacle are considered. Then, the author argues that PowerPoint could be applied also more creatively. By using PowerPoint as a tool of multimedia performance, it could contribute to elicit a critical, creative and active response from its audience. |
