| Abstract: | A market report is presented about housing and households in Denmark. The general economic situation of the country is outlined. Population is examined according to marital status. Data are published about age distribution. Explanations are presented for the decline in household size. Statistics are published about marriages and divorces. Households are examined by type. Housing standards are analysed. Danish households are recognized as having the highest standards in Scandinavia. Attention is given to the dwelling stock. The development of the housing construction is examined. Effects of the economic stagnation are projected. |
