Abstract: | Today, China has become a main export country of the textile products and the biggest supplier of the world garments market. However, technology and equipment's level of the textile industry is still low. Only 10% of the producing capability of the cotton yarn reaches the international standard. In the early 1990's, as a main import country of the textiles, garments and some other related products, China's import value accounted for 10% of its country's total import volume. Hong Kong , Taiwan and Japan are China's main import market, but most of the import volume is the processed and semi-finished grey cloth that had formerly been exported from China. |
