| Abstract: | Relying on the technique of cointegration and optimal control the authors investigate how interventions of Bank of Canada influenced the exchange rate between Canadian and American dollar. When the bank relies on optimal control and does not sterilize his intervention then the exchange rate and the Canadian interest rate form a system of dynamic equilibrium. |
